Coronavirus and Junior Bowling's remaining season

Dear Parents,

Junior Bowling and Metro Bowl are working together to provide a safe and healthy environment for the final week of our bowling season.  Due to the large amount of people who would attend the confined space of Metro Bowl, we are canceling the Awards and Family bowling session on March 21, 2020.  We will live stream the awards on March 21, 2020 and give you the opportunity to pick up the awards at Metro Bowl at a later date.  This Saturday (Week 10) Bowling will continue as planned and we will take extra precautions to keep everyone healthy.

As the concern for COVID-19 continues to grow, we want to make you aware of some steps that we have taken to maintain a clean & healthy environment for everyone. Metro Bowl is making extra efforts to ensure the cleanliness of the facility.  The Metro Bowl team is increasing the frequency and extent of their cleaning & disinfecting practices, especially as it pertains to objects and surfaces that are routinely touched by bowlers and patrons.

Metro Bowl is also providing extra hand sanitizing stations throughout the bowling alley.  All Metro Bowl and Junior Bowling team members are actively following the CDC best practices.

Keeping everyone healthy is a team effort, we ask for your assistance in the following areas with us:

- Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing
Everyone will be required to wash their hands upon arrival at Metro Bowl
- Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands
- Limit snacks to before and after bowling to prevent face and mouth contact
- Do not bring in any food to share
- Remind kids to cough or sneeze into a tissue or elbow
- Keep hands to yourself and switch to clapping for your teammates
- If you or your kids are feeling unwell, please stay home

Finally, the most important thing is the health, comfort and well-being of you and your family and this is our TOP PRIORITY.  If you or your family are uncomforable attending bowling on Saturday we support your decision and look forward to seeing you again in person at a later date and time.
